STORY:
-----
Gardevoirs are known for being loyal to their trainer, and will protect them till the very end. They are affectionate and as most people probably agree, possess human-like qualities.

One Gardevoir realized this, when it was able to train herself to learn to read and mentally communicate, if not speak. She is deemed the smarted and most elegant of all the pokemon this particular trainer owns. Unfortunately for her, this trainer is a madman… a mad scientist to be more precise. To remind her of this fate, the number ‘06’ remains forever etched on her right shoulder---as she was the doctor’s special sixth pokemon. Though the Mad Doctor took care of his scientific subjects, he was very harsh and usually turned to electrocution as a means of punishment, hitting them personally when it wasn’t enough. Number Six though, learned her mistakes, for she was trained by him when she was just a Ralts. She cried and screamed, and through these punishments… she only learned to become stronger the more she endured it.

One dreary day, she was asked by the scientist to handle some very volatile chemicals for a risky genetic experiment. She was to use her psycho-kinetic abilities in transporting chemicals that were far too unstable for any human to handle, much less the demented doctor. All was going well until an eardrum-shattering alarm went off, startling Number Six and forcing her to lose her concentration. Needless to say, the vials spilled and amidst the chemical chaos, was a scientist enraged by incompetence.
“NOW LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO! INCOMPETENT FOOL!” The scientist angrily shouted as he slapped Number Six. The blow was so hard; she flew away a few feet and knocked over a table or two. More chemicals joined in the brew, but the doctor was still enraged. Number Six merely looked down in sadness, enduring the emotional pain, and gritting the physical one through her teeth. Deep down she knew there was still some goodness in his heart despite everything. It was all she could believe after all.

“Damn it! Not now! I’m no where near completion of the experiment!” the scientist grumbled, as Number Six regains her composure. She apologizes and wondered herself what was the matter. “Can’t you see?!? I’ve been found out!” Though there was a flaw in his logic, unless of course his base had been discovered thanks to something else… “YOU! YOU DID THIS DIDN’T YOU?!? YOU TOLD THEM I WAS HERE!” Number Six shook her head, explaining that she would never do such a thing. Nevertheless, the scientist ignored her pleas, and shoved her away, again hitting a table and breaking more things with reckless abandon. Then, a voice from one of the doors is heard. “Doctor Grievus! This is the Pokémon police! Your illegal experiments of altering human and pokémon DNA are over! Surrender now!“

The scientist, now in deep despair had no choice.

Or did he?!

“If---if I can’t finish this. NOONECANHAAHAHAHAHA!!!” The mad doctor gets a computer and throws it on the floor, forcibly ripping the wires and bathing all the chemicals with electric sparks, starting a chain reaction of explosions!

The lab was ablaze within the next few seconds, as the doctor laughed maniacally. The police tried breaking in and Number Six---still apparently alive in all this---tried snapping the doctor out of his fit shaking him vigorously hoping the doctor would eventually come through…to no avail. If anything, it only made the doctor even crazier than before, pushing her into the fiery flames! Number Six screamed in pain, but managed to get out of the fire before she is totally consumed by it. She tries to keep on remembering the times when the doctor was training her. She still tries to cling on to the fact that she can save him… she thinks that the fumes of the chemicals must’ve gotten to his mind… little did she know, that the fumes were slowly affecting her too. Her heart beat faster than before. Her eyes began bleeding inside out, and almost peeling off. Her skin, started to disintegrate. And odd as it may seem, the pain had long passed.

She tries to save him again, but he shoves her away. “YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SCUM, I SHOULD’VE USED YOU AS AN EXPERIMENT A LONG TIME AGO. YOU PATHETIC POKEMON. I never liked pokemon. And I never liked you, you were the most pathetic of them all. Always quiet and always obedient, don’t you have a mind of your own you moron?!?” The Gardevoir, in shock, tries to deny the truth, but she acted like it was her fault. She wanted to cry in sadness. She remembered how she should be, protective of her trainer, no matter what but that memory was gone.

Anger filled her.

Hatred consumed her.

Sorrow transformed her.

Dementia overcame her.

The fumes were getting to her as well; twisting her thoughts. “ Pathetic” said the doctor again… “worthless”… the Gardevoir no longer felt compassion nor pity and all the blows she endured before, now are pouring out of her as primal rage…

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGH.

She finally snaps, as an eerie evil aura surrounds Number Six. She psychically lifts the doctor up, and she throws him into the door just as when the police just managed to open it. The police managed to get the doctor, but to their surprise, charred, motionless Dead. They didn’t expect to see another figure in the room… a feminine silhouette from the flames appears. The police yell out to her to come to them as they try to save her, but an explosion held them back. The figure then fades away. One rescuer persists trying to save her, but the others said it was too dangerous. They fall back. More explosions occur, as the Pokemon police head out and as all of the police managed to escape the burning laboratory, a huge explosion engulfed everything close.

A few hours later, firefighters were on the scene. Rescuers tried finding the body of the figure they saw before, but none was ever found. The police laid the body of the doctor down--- singed with deformations of his skin---though strangely, his clothes, aside from a few spots, were not burned at all. What’s more bizarre about his death on the other hand, though police say he must’ve experience extreme pain due to the chemicals and fire burning him, he had died with a smile on his face. Autopsy would soon describe it to be even “maniacal”.

The next night, a few people were surveying the burned down laboratory, trying to find evidence and traces of what the doctor was doing. A few lamps here and there to shed some light, and a car or two were present. One investigator, felt a slight chill behind him. He shrugged it off, thinking it was the wind. Soon after, other investigators felt an eerie presence, a presence that can only be described as, twisted; looming over them, as if the whole place was cursed ground, and they awoke a slumbering demon. Though they could not see anything out of the ordinary other than the burned parts, their fear got the best of them, and called it a night. They hurriedly packed their gear, wanting to drive away from the place as fast as they can.

As they were about to leave, one investigator saw a figure; as being lit by the moonlight… a silhouette of a humanoid figure on top of the highest point of the burned laboratory. He did not see a clear face nor color even… but he could clearly see two things. One is that the figure is wearing a tattered robe-like garment, flowing through the wind… The second, is a glowing red eye; as red as crimson, as red as blood. The investigator calls to his comrades to look at the figure, but they see nothing.

As they drive off, the investigator that saw the silhouette was all shaken up. His comrades were trying to calm him down, saying they’re far from the area now… but he can’t shake this feeling that the figure is following them. As they enter a tunnel, only lit by a few lights, that investigator looked out of the window, and saw the silhouette, floating and following them… that red glow still glowing, brighter than ever. He panicked and told the others of what he saw. They looked, but saw nothing again. His comrades just told him it’s just his imagination, and just chill out until they reach headquarters. Their headquarters in the city nearby was only a few minutes away, but those few minutes felt like hours to that investigator, who was quiet and breathing heavily throughout the entire trip. As they reached their destination, the panicked investigator’s companions insisted that he go home already, to try to relax… so he did...

As the investigator reaches his condo, as he opens his door, he felt the same chill as he did during the site of the incident. He quickly went in, shut the door, went to his room and went straight to bed like a little kid, with sheets over him. He took deep breaths, muttering “it’s all in my head… it’s all in my head… it’s all in my…” “heeeead…” …

The investigator’s eyes widened as he heard a feminine yet sinister voice… he got up his bed and grabbed the nearest item he can grab onto; an umbrella. “W… who’s there?!?” He looks around frantically around his room… nothing. He goes outside his room towards the living room, still nothing. He was such in a rush going to bed, he did not notice that the balcony doors were open. Strong wind blows the curtains vigorously, flapping and snapping. Beaming through the open door, moonlight shines through it. The investigator sighed a sigh of relief and thought it was just the wind. He dropped the umbrella, went to the kitchen and got a glass of water. He exits the kitchen and goes to the balcony doors to close them. He drinks the water in one big gulp. After finishing, he looks at the balcony, and drops the glass, breaking it. The silhouette appears… now no longer just a shady silhouette… the moonlight lights the figure perfectly; dark-red pointed hair, shaped as if they were fangs; a grey tattered robe-like garment flows through the wind, with spots of red which seems like blood; long pure white arms with three pointed fingers that seem like claws; black throbbing bulge in the chest area… and those blood-shot crimson eyes. The investigator’s legs soften in fear and falls onto his knees… he attempts to scream for help, but no voice can come from him… he tries to yell and scream, but no sound at all. The only sound he can hear is the wind blowing and the curtains shaking. The figure is moving towards him slowly, levitating. The man backs up onto the wall, and attempts to get up and get out of the condo… but a force is keeping him at bay. His mind wants to go, but his body isn’t letting him. The figure closes in on him and the man is scared out of his wits. The figure then speaks… through telepathy, rather than voice…

“Thou hast seen me, which means you must be tainted.”

“T-ta-tainted?!?” W-what are you talking about?!?” Thinks the man; whom understands this being is a psychic one.

“I have always been there… ever since the accident… and no one has seen me… then there was you. That then I understand my purpose… my goal… my dream…”

“W-what?!? I… I…”

“My goal, is to rid this world of the unjust… the tainted… the malicious… those whose hearts have evil inside them.”

“S-speak for yourself! H-have you l-looked at yourself?!?”

“Such is my curse… but it does not matter entirely…”

“I-I haven’t done anything wrong!!!”

“Your lies do not touch me. I have read your mind, and you have been… abusive.”

“W-what?!?”

“Your power… your status… your well-being.”

“H-HUH?!?”

“You have been helping this… person… in such horrendous trials. Trials neither Pokémon nor human should undertake.”

“TCH, N-NO!”

“Denial is futile… I have seen the truth… I shall now judge…”

“W-WAIT! I-I’M SORRY!”

“I am the adjudicator of justice… your actions are vile and your intentions are shameless… you shall…”

“NO WAIT!”

“Be… exiled…”

The figure’s bulging black chest then opens up. The black bulge is actually a vicious looking mouth, with razor sharp teeth and a slithery tongue. The mouth then enlarges to a sick enormous mass huge enough to swallow the human whole.

“AAAAAAAAGGH!!!”

The man attempts to scream, but again, no sound can be heard from him. The mouth consumes him and “swallows” him whole. Not a trace of the man is left behind. The figure is then in a trance, savoring the meal she just had. She exits the area through the balcony… and says…

“I am Gardementia… adjudicator of justice… those who insist in disrupting harmony and peace, shall experience eternal torment and misery.

The figure then dissipates into the shadows and leaves behind a small black blob, coming from the rear tip of her tail that protrudes from her bulge. This blob then melts on the floor, creating a number… the number “06”.

As time passes by, there have been several cases of missing people and Pokémon, mysteriously vanishing into thin air without a trace. In most of these disappearances, there have always been a black number “06” marked behind. Police say it’s the work of a murderer, a few say they have been taken away supernaturally. In some cases though, few grieve for this loss, as some who were taken were under suspicion of doing malicious acts and deeds. Few on the other hand, were curious on why they have been taken, as those people and Pokémon “was a good one and never did any wrong”.

The total count recorded by the police that has been taken away by this mysterious abduction, is 2,169,274.

I think Gardement (Garde + Dement) would fit better.

It means "A protector who suffers from dementia."
